Our first working cell group meeting

my working cell group members suggested to fast to remember the Lent...so last friday we fasted for the working hours...meet up for a heavy breakfast...

during lunch time, we had a prayer session....me shared 2 verses in the Bible that caught my eyes a couple of days back...

1) Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

The above verses shown that we Christians have the necessary equipment to face the world and devil...imagine the sword is the word of God...simple yet powerful...amen

The other verse is found in 2 Cor 12:9-10

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Here Paul said from his experience with God's grace...it is interesting to see how in our weakness, God will have His power to work out the good things in our weakness...that is by His amazing grace...that is Paul delights to be in all the hardship positions...where he will see Christ's power surfaced through these difficult times...simply amazing

another significant understanding...Christ's grace is sufficient for all of us...when we have troubles, stress over things...take a step to be still...in heart...and confess and BELIEVE...Christ's grace is sufficient for me...the problem cant be bigger than You my Lord...you will be amazed by the outcomes...cos me tried many times :)

truly amazed by the simplicity yet power filled of Your words Lord...please let me see more You...please let me hear more You...for Your grace is sufficient for me...
