Serve in the ushering ministry

Joined the ushering service...did feel this is God's calling for me...in fact all this while Holy Spirit did speak to me...time for me to serve...but me ask...which department...He replied...in ushering...then me went...hmm...cool...ok...but no jioing of ushers in church...so me wait lor...normal human feeling lar...wait for durian to drop mah...hehe

then before long...pastor steve who always give the announcements...Ushering ministry is opened for recruitment for new pple...me went huh...sure bo...SO FAST?!?!...haha...without further waiting...signed up...hehe...

fast forward....the problem of not regular updating the blog...hehe...now every 2 weeks once...for the 9am service...brother philip is the leader...currently is OJT...learn from my seniors...hehe...simple it may seems...shaking of hands...saying "God Bless You" or "Good Morning"...bro philip did say...try to look out for new pple...true also...any one new would certainly need to take care of also...like lead them to sit as front as possible...make them feel at home...really lor...no one would go to any places without any warmth rite..hehe...learn as go along :)

does suits me leh...hehe...this make serving fun and interesting lar...hehe...be lead by Him for He is a good shepherd! :)

My Baptism

yeah...went for my baptism yesterday...30 June 2007...what a day :)

2 weeks back went for baptism course conducted by brother Chris... what, why how the baptism is carried out in the church...onz lor...hehe...anyway the call of baptism was triggered by auntie connie also lor...hehe...thanks auntie connie! :)

so fast forward to 30 june...hehe...location Covenant Presbyterian Church...time was abt 3pm

so glad my parents would come for my baptism...hehe...thanks Dad and Mummy!

so did wiselyn and her sister...hehe...wow...got supporters leh...hehe

List of events...

1) took group photo...hehe...english side 2 persons baptised for the day...allan and clement...the rest are from the chinese side

2) Pastor Sha lead prayers and tok about Romans 6
...all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

3) We queued up to th pool...allan was first line...clement was second...hehe

4) my turn...Pastor John asked me 3 qns...anyway now cant remember also liao...hehe...water down...water up...hehe...hands clap clap...hehe...FAST and DONE...haha

5) Hey i am a new creation already leh! :)

after that the organisers prepared some light snacks for us...took some bee hon very nice...got to rush home to wash up and go for mrs wong lessons liao :)
