Gospel Foundation Course

Currently attending a 6 weeks Gospel Foundation Course...very eye and ear opening...last week Pastor John covered The Fall in the Garden...realised man's very first sin...that is Disbelief for God...yeah...that was the first sin...and the eating of the fruit...hehe...really lor...our lives are indeed filled with the devil's lies...indeed...THE TRUTH WILL SET US FREE!!!...if u are wondering why...think back...God instructed Adam NOT (Thanks Sharon!) to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17)...

however the serpent said to Eve about the 'goodness' to know good and evil is good for man...jialat liao lor...they ate...causing the fall...but it also started the whole rescue mission by the Creator Himself...yeah...have to be thankful...He did not abandon us in the wildness to be devour by the evil beasts...

Today brother Chris continue where stopped last week...this week topic is The Cross...yeah...he did a good and clear explanation on what and why the Cross events needed to happened...me always think deeply when tok about the Cross lor...really lor...Son of God...who have all the power in this world to stop everything...yet Jesus was tortured (a tame word to use) for our sake...His flesh was torn apart...that was not the end...He still need to be hang on the cross...all these were done for us...the Scriptures for these to be fulfilled:-

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

me always think...God...do You really need to do these for us?...You are almighty...we are just normal beings...do we DESERVE all these You have done...maybe we human will have the thinking that we are NEVER be able to deserve God's blessings and mercy...funny thing also...in the Bible...every time Jesus or an angel appear...the scene is men will be afraid...then Jesus will say 'Don't be afraid'...maybe the fall in the garden effect still in us...hehe

however...when on the cross...Jesus shouted IT IS FINISHED...meaning everything that needs to be done...is done...amazing...brother Chris did say some teaching are going around...that changed the truth...it is not ALMOST finished...Christ left over this this thing no do yet...let the preacher to finish...LIES!!!

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

John 3:36

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.

By believing He done it all...yeah...eternal life begins now...not when we go heaven...we all go...but now we can live victorious life as a Christian...all because of what Jesus did...shiok...Thank you Jesus...we cant help but thank you more and more...

oh yeah...brother Chris shared...of all these...there is still 1 sin left...that is still Disbelief for God!...we human...really...hehe...

My First Visit To Church

On sunday, 06 May 2007..i went service with Clement to his church for service.

It is not the first time i go to church. I was stuyding in a Catholic school in my primany school days..

The feeling of the Church Clement goes is so so so much different from the church that i go during during school days.From the settings to the people and the pastor.

I receive a warm welcome from the pastor and the pastor was a nice guy. Had a chat with him after the service and he even shared about his wife pregancy and the painless childbirth. I read about painless childbirth in a book written by a chrisitian lady (cannot remember her name). But to hear the testimonal from someone first hand experience is so so different lor.

It was a nice feeling at the church, i think i will go back again...

Birthday Present for the Year 2007

Have to thank my brothers in Christ in the company for giving me a great gift for my this year birthday...certainly a very much needed tool for my walk in faith!

IT IS A STUDY BIBLE...hehe

If wondering what are the few papers laying around...it is called Tabs...yeah...since the study Bible does not come with tabs...have to manual stick them on for easy reference...not a must have...a good to have lor...yesterday went to Heartland Mall shopping mah...so this Christian Bookshop in level 3...beside the toilet one...have to say it is currently the cheapest selling product store...previously was a shop me always visit in suntec one...this shop has store wide of 10% discounts unless Nett and discounted items...good deal lor...truly...because of His blood...i am walking on clean grounds!...thank you Lord!!!

Last nite came home...look at the tabs...hmm...why not try try stick lar...hehe...open up the packet...OH!!!...the method to stick, use the ruler and tabs...it is a patented product leh!!!...a simple idea yet could turn into a money making scheme...when God has His hand in things...hehe...we human will know we cant be without Him!!! :)

The above picture is about half way through the process!...come a common quiz...how many books are there in the OT and how many books in NT?...give u all a clue...total number of books in the Bible is 66!!!

Finished at about 1am...SIONG BUT SHIOK leh...hehe...a test of patience lor...half way already bo tahan already...want to surrender liao...haha...looks easy...took me about 3 hours to complete...gotto stick and check no double pages are stick together...the longer u do...the more doubt will have...haha

This is the finished product...hehe...cant see well from the picture lor...it is a SHIOK feeling lor...hehe...now can get on to serious business liao...TIME TO STUDY!!! :)
